New BMW X5 2003 Cars pictures and specification prices reviews

New BMW X5 2003 Cars pictures and specification prices reviews
BMW X5 arrived in Australia in November 2000. It was a class-leading proposition that also changed the way we looked at four-wheel-drives.

Soft-roaders werent new, but the BMW most successfully combined the looks and attitude of a big off-roader with dynamics that were acceptable to drivers of conventional cars.

Being an expensive vehicle when new, many X5s were privately leased or acquired according to whatever salary-sacrifice could be negotiated. Which means that early examples will be coming out of those leases about now. Get ready for a wave of good quality, well-maintained X5s hitting second-hand car yards.

The Love Of A Mother In Law

Dear friends,

All the time I hear mother in law are a pain and that they make your life a misery or even worse... hell-like. Well to tell you the truth, I really believe that someone up there loves me and my adorable husband very much - both my mother in law and his are the most adorable ladies that walked upon this land. Mareks mother accepted me and loved me at first sight and she made me feel very comfortable inside their home. Each time we go to Mareks place it feels very much like home and I come with positive energy and good vibes from there.
 ***
At the beginning I could barely say yes/no in Polish and I would understand even less than 10% of what people around me were saying. Now after 3 years in Poland I understand almost 80% if they dont rush about it when speaking, and if they dont start with dialects :) The best conversations I have happen with the smaller ones, with Mareks sister/brothers children. I can see from Mareks mums smile that she loves me and that she approves of me and that she is happy I am part of the family and that makes me happy in return :)
With my mum it is a bit easier still as she understands English language so if Marek says something there is a high chance she will get it. I even surprised them having longer and diversified conversations using pictograms - drawing and making sketches. They get along just fine, and as Marek studied Italian/Latin language and Romanian language has a latin base, he even figured out when we were trying to give him a birthday party - the first time he came to Romania. My mum always trusted my judgement and she welcomed him with open arms. Hey! She always keep saying that she did not loose a daughter but gained the son she never had ;)
 ***
Now since the civil wedding last year, when she got to meet face to face his parents/family, she loves him even more and to everyones joy the families really love eachother :) So what can I say, the love of a mother (in law) can break all barriers of language, space, frontiers, nationalities. They both love eachother and when they see our love for eachother that makes them love us even more. I believe that our mothers in law love us for the love we have to eachother. They see the respect and they see how we complete eachother and they are happy we found ourselfs in this whole big world :) How do you get along with your mother in law? And what about your significant other?

Yours truly,
A LadyBug Very Much In Love With Mothers :)

New Car 2013 Aston Martin V12 Zagato

After surviving 24 hours of racing around Germany’s famed Nürburgring, the 2012 Aston Martin V12 Zagato is now ready to roll into private driveways all over the world. Though Aston had previously talked about offering a street-legal version of its Zagato-bodied racer, the company announced today it will show such a vehicle at 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Mechanically, the new car is essentially identical to the existing V12 Vantage, but the big news lies with the skin itself. Zagato has both penned and crafted a taut, lithe body from both carbon fiber and aluminum, helping the Vantage shed some weight yet gain some sex appeal. Aston’s 510-hp, 6.0-liter V-12 continues to provide power, which will likely continue to be channeled to the rear wheels via a six-speed automated manual transaxle.

Aston has long promised production of the Zagato will be “strictly limited,” but that seems to extend even to the prototypes. Two cars — nicknamed Zig and Zag — were raced at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring enduro earlier this year, but the company has converted Zag back into road-going form for its Frankfurt show display. Aston says the car is “indicative” of the finished product, which is previewed with these new renderings. From what we can tell, the street-legal machine looks almost identical to the racer, apart from the hood (two fewer scoops), side windows (now fully functional), and front diffuser.

According the company, only 150 examples of the V12 Zagato will be built. Buyers have their choice of four colors, but not body styles — each and every example will be a hardtop coupe. Want one? Aston’s taking orders on a first-come, first-served basis, and pricing is expected to start between $525,000-540,000.

Making the New Year delicious

Every New Years my parents have big party at our house and of course there is a lot of yummy food! This year I decided I would contribute to the deliciousness by making a unique snack with following the recipe from my Toll House, 3 Books In One Cookbook by Nestle.

The treat is called Confetti Bars. This snack has "Chunk Cookie Bar, miniature marshmallows, milk chocolate-covered pretzels, broken into pieces, rainbow pretzels, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels" (191). Now although this treat sounds like a carb over load, its okay, you can eat better next year!

Although you are supposed to buy the cookie dough, I decided I wanted this to be a more authentic recipe and make the cookies from scratch.

After I had made the cookie dough, I followed to directions of baking the cookie dough for 12 minutes and then I did the next step, which was to "Sprinkle marshmallows over cookie; bake for an additional 2 minutes or until marshmallows were puffed" (191). After this I "Distribute pretzels, sprinkles and morels over marshmallows" (191).

After all of the treats were on top of the cookie I was finished and just needed to wait for everything to harden. Once everything was cooled off I cut the cookie in to pieces and set it out for everyone to eat.

I had gotten lots of compliments on this treat and was glad I had taken the time to make a unique yummy treat for this New Years celebration.

Question: What was your favorite treat this on this New Years?

The Love To Our Country Is Our Law

Dear friends,

I know not if you ever heard of the mighty and brave hussars before but I thought I should tell you a bit about them today. As an expat you get to find out and learn a lot of things about the country that has "adopted" you - your second home. One of the few things I knew about Poland, when moving here, was the high connection with the World War 2, the Warsaw Uprising, Schindlers List/Factory, Auschwitz and Birkenau and all related to the extermination of the jews + their most wonderful army of hussars.
That, my dearies, is a Hussar Armour
"It is chivalry that has no equal in the world;
without seeing it with your own eyes,
its vigor and splendor is impossible to imagine."
Cosimo Brunetti, 1676
When we went out for a walk on our way to visit our friends, in the wonderful Saturday or 8th February, I had the chance to see up close a bit of Krakows Street Art. I know you did not see any Street Art on my blog for quite a while, and I am sorry about that, but there was nothing new to show - the winter does not make us very eager for long walks due to the low temperatures.
Towards the ending of the city, as you go straight from Aleea 29 Listopada and further on to Warsaw Street you will pass a bridge with multiple paintings history related. I took some pictures for you so you would see them ;) The most noticeable face on the walls for me was Jan Sobieski - John III Sobieski (Polish: Jan III Sobieski, Lithuanian: Jonas Sobieskis; 17 August 1629 – 17 June 1696) was one of the most notable monarchs of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, from 1674 until his death King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania. Sobieskis 22-year-reign was marked by a period of the Commonwealths stabilization, much needed after the turmoil of the Deluge and Khmelnytsky Uprising. Popular among his subjects, he was an able military commander, most famous for the victory over the Turks in the 1683 Battle of Vienna ( where, by the way, he used the Winged Hussars). Following his victories over the Ottoman Empire, he was called by the Turks the "Lion of Lechistan" and held as the saviour of European Christendom by the pope. (source)
I believe that people that know at least a bit of history and that are interested in military related subjects - like for example tactics - should know about the wonderful and fearless Polish cavalry. The Polish cavalry - and particulary the Winged Hussars - should be recognized as one of the most kick arse and hardcore people that ever roamed this World. The hussars were daring, brave and powerful and had the most awesome costumes in the history of wars/fighting and such. To be noted that they were able to defeat repeatedly and during multiple years armies at least 3 times their size with nothing more than a huge lance, a sword, the iron armour on their backs and the huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge (but very cool and frightening at the same time!) wings on their back!
The hussars appeared on the books and in the scene sometimes in the early 16th century as part of a hammer-smashing army made out of stone under the Hungarian King Stefan Bathory. Bathory (who fought the Turks alongside Vlad the Impaler - yup, that is the one and only Romanian Vlad - and was an ancestor of the infamous virgin-cidal blood countess and psychopath Elizabeth Bathory), basically levied the cavalry force by conscripting one out of every twenty Polish and Lithuanian peasants to strap on a pair of wings and a suit of heavy armor and start piercing the faces of anyone insane enough to step to Eastern Europe.  Over the next two hundred years, the random people selected were transformed into an anvil of justice that would go against anything and anyone and wipe them out, as long as they would keep their country safe and sound!
I believe that their motto tottaly makes sense: "Amor Patriae Nostra Lex" - which basically means "The Love To Our Country Is Our Law". The combat record of the Winged Hussars stands for itself.  In 1577 a massive charge of this ultra-heavy cavalry unit smashed a German army from Danzig, blitzing into the teeth of a 12,000 man force and crushing them until all that remained was a well-trampled patch of red where the enemy army once used to be. Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth losses in the battle totaled about 88 men, and most of those clowns werent even Hussars.  In 1601, a thousand Hussars defeated a Swedish cavalry force four times that size.
At the Battle of Kircholm four years later, the Hussars (whose commanders completely badass motto was "Kill First, Calculate Later"), sent 1,000 lancers in a charge against 11,000 Swedish infantrymen and cannons for some reason, and incredibly, despite the ridiculous idiocy of sending your elite troops on such an impossible mission, the Hussars jammed their poles into anything they could find and not only emerged victorious, but utterly slaughtered their opponents army, hacking the broken infantry units into giblets as they fled the field.
Amazingly, that wasnt even the most impressive shit this mobile last stand accomplished in its proud heritage as the Commonwealths premier exporter of busted-up faces. At the Battle of Klushino in 1610, the Hussars were outnumbered ten to one, and still somehow came out on top, utterly annihilating an army of 40,000 Swedes and Russians with just 4,000 lancers.
The Hussars were also super-well-trained, capable of changing directions and altering their formations in mid-charge, and then plowing through their enemy, circling around, and hitting them again from the rear.  In case youve never seen footage of a well-executed cavalry charge before, this is kind of like the equine equivalent of the Blue Angels doing all of their trademark death-defying stunts while in the middle of a dogfight. I dont care who you are, this has to kind of screw with your head a little...(source)
 ***
Now this is just a brief boast of their victories and accomplishments but if you want to read more there is unlimited data on the Internet and if you are Polish it is just easier of you would start reading the trilogy by Henryk Sienkiewicz - that will give you at least a head start ;)

Yours truly,
A LadyBug Expat In Love With Hussars.

Drawing 4 The Head

Drawing the Head

In my opinion drawing Anatomy is quite difficult subject to draw but the book Basic Drawing by Louis Priscilla. makes it easier, by starting piece by piece. the first piece is the Head Louis says that " you can better understand the head in perspective by thinking of it as having six sides and being cube like in structure"(44). I attempted to practice this below.

drawing a head using the six sided cube

I next tried to draw a head with details and shading.
According to the Author When the head is turned down then line across the front of the face will go up to eye level(46).

drawing detailed head tilted down in perspective with details and shading

I have learned to draw the human head in more detail and more in depth. this can help whenever I need to draw people i will know more on the drawing of the head in perspective. a question that I have for you is have you ever had a hard time drawing Heads?
